Wireless surveys + WAP validation

Enterprise Wi-Fi that is installed, tested, documented, and accepted.

PAFDS provides wireless survey, access point installation, switch/PoE validation, SSID and VLAN testing, roaming checks, label cleanup, as-built notes, and closeout evidence for offices, warehouses, shops, campuses, and project sites.

The work can fit direct customer projects, B2B support, subcontracted field work, or larger multi-company deployments when the written scope defines authority and acceptance criteria.

What gets validated

Wireless projects fail when nobody owns the practical field evidence. PAFDS focuses on the proof a project manager or owner can inspect.

Survey and placement

Predictive or onsite survey support, access point count review, mounting constraints, coverage gaps, interference concerns, construction realities, and practical placement notes.

Switching, PoE, and cabling

PoE budget checks, patch paths, port labeling, VLAN handoff, switch readiness, cable testing coordination, rack cleanup, and escalation when physical infrastructure blocks acceptance.

SSID, VLAN, and roaming tests

SSID availability, authentication flow, VLAN tagging, DHCP/DNS reachability, guest isolation, roaming behavior, Teams or voice checks when scoped, and user acceptance notes.

Closeout evidence

As-built records, AP labels, switch port notes, test results, open punch-list items, photos where allowed, and a clear handoff for operations.

Platforms and environments

PAFDS is flexible around the edge and wireless controller stack while keeping switching and validation disciplined.

Cisco

Layer 3 switching focus

PAFDS strongly prefers Cisco Layer 3 switching foundations where the project calls for predictable campus routing and clean operations.

Meraki

Cloud-managed networks

Meraki environments can be supported for practical operations, dashboard checks, AP deployment, VLAN validation, and owner-ready documentation.

Flexible edge

Firewalls and routing

PAFDS can coordinate around pfSense, SonicWall, Fortinet, carrier gear, and customer-required firewall or edge routing stacks.
